DADA I KARANTENE is a solo project the turned into a collaborative effort based in Oslo, Norway, that started during lockdown period in march 2020. Strongly inspired by progressive music, noise, punk, hardcore, jazz, the Dadaists of the early 20th century and a desire to justify my own existence, a series of spontaneous and improvised drum tracks were recorded, then sent to other artists(a couple of meet-ups when people lacked proper gear for recording) for tracking guitar, bass, vocals, noise, electric drill and other good stuff. Then after a lot trying, internet self-educating, plug-in purchases, listening and experimenting, the final mix and master was done. Some limited cassette tapes were made and now with a fresh cover art, the record is ready for vinyl pressing! It also contains an insert with lyrics and a Dada Manifesto 2020.
